Old school
Wow I remember the days when Freddy used to horrify me, now after seeing the new Nightmare on Elm street, it makes this movie seem tame. I really enjoy the old school special effects, and I also really appreciate the fact that the movie did a good job of making you like some of the characters before Freddy horribly murdered them. I will say this version of the movie will always have a special place in my heart...considering it scared the crap out of me about 100 times and made me lose many hours of sleep =) If you enjoy the old 80`s horror movies the Nightmare on Elm street is a safe bet for a horror movie night.

I recommend this and the rest in the series.

I also would like to say that this movie is one of my top 80`s horror movie`s this is one not to miss!!!!

FUN FILM!
The original mix of horror and comedy. Freddy keeps you terrified, yet full of zany one-liners it is not as predictable as typical horror.
