I watched this in Spanish class actually on a special DVD my teacher got from Spain. It`s a really great, moving film, especially considering the Starring actor`s tragic death just before the film`s release ( a pre-Heath Ledger if you will). The movie is about a postman, Mario Ruppolo, who becomes interested in the works and political ideas of famous Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, who is in exile on Mario`s small Italian Island. The at first awkward relationship between postman and poet soon turns into a wonderful friendship. I won`t spoil the rest, but it is a great, emotional movie. 2 thumbs up.
