I love this movie!!!
Honestly I didnt think i was going to like this movie.... but then I was given the soundtrack and listend to it once... i loved it.. so then i had to see the movie and it was amazing.. i cant think of a movie in this category.. being not a musical but also a musical that i love more.

I have officially listend to the soundtrack 104 times according to my itunes.. and watched the movie about 10 times.. mind you this was in May!!!

WATCh thiS MOVIE!!!

Amazing
I thought this movie was absolutely amazing. What`s not to love? First of it`s a musical with all Beatles music. The way the songs were redone to have a more modern sound was fantastic. I think what they did to the music was really comendable. The cast was very well chosen, not only are they great singers, but they are amazing actors as well. An aspect I found to be particularly intriguing was the way they worked in both characters and names from Beatles songs, and people present in that time era. For instance there is a character that represents Jimmy Hendrix in the movie and his name is JoJo. Across the Universe allowed me to experience what it was like to live in such a tumultuous time in American History. Being only twenty I really appreciated being able to grasp what it would have been like to been my age in a different era.

Fallen, yes I have fallen.
This movie was one of THE BEST movies I`ve seen in a while.
After I watched it in the theaters, I immediately bought the DVD and soundtrack.
Their modernized versions of the songs are all so beautiful and entrancing. And the ways they fit them into the storyline make it so fun to watch!
It`s watching the lyrics come to life.
I absolutely recommend it to anyone wanting to see a beautiful musical.
The only thing I didn`t like, in fact...I can`t stand her.. Sadie. Watching her sing killed my eyes, and hearing her voice made me cringe. BUT that`s just my personal opinion.
