Following twenty-plus years of civil war in Sri Lanka, a cease-fire treaty has been reached between the Sinhalese government and the Liberation Tigersof Tamil Eelam. In its attempt to ensure that the cease-fire isn`t breached, the Sri Lankan army`s presence is felt every day, suspendingthe country in limbo between war and peace.
