Love Late(r) in Life
Last Chance Harvey portrays the complexities of human relationships very well. This film shows that family, work, and romance aren`t neccessarily any easier just because you`ve gotten older.

Emma Thompson`s character has a narrow life which includes her work, her invasive mother, and a writing class.

Dustin Hoffman plays music producer Harvey, who on the verge of being fired, travels to London for his daughter`s wedding. Once there, he is the odd man out, seeing that his daughter is closer to her step-father. This heartbreak, along with some chance encounters with Thompson, lead Harvey to take some risks in his own life by making people his priority.

Both of these characters are isolated and feel trapped by the way their lives have turned out thus far. Yet through meeting each other, they give each other a last chance to take the risk of living their lives now.
