Cute and very worth watchingSo as far as the 3D experience goes...well it still lacks the experience the theater version does. First of all it really does have to be completely dark for you to not see in green and red the whole time, Second you are more likely to get a headache by the end of the movie, the theater version is less achy on me personally but it will be up to you to decide. I really loved the story with both the dark and light aspects of it. This movie will not only draw you in, it also teaches you an important lesson Never trust a stranger that is living in your wall...or something like that. J/k. It really proves that you can wish for adventure, but you should always be cautious of things that are too good to be true..most of the time they really are. I not only enjoyed the story line, but Teri Hatchar did a great job playing the mom that means well, but sometimes needs to work a little less and pay a little more attention to her daughter. I loved the colorful scenery and the great characters that came with the move. Ashland really shines in this movie and little things like the theater women ring true. I feel that with the excrescences of the apartment dwellers and the sharp difference of the other mother and characters it really pulled this movie to a shining example of a great film. I personally will own this film to watch with my Husband, it is great for the family and will not leave older viewers in bores. Pick it up tonight and enjoy the slightly creepy action that only Henry Selick can bring to a movie.
