When two newlyweds from a prominent family are murdered, top homicide inspector Lindsay Boxer is assigned to the high-profile case. But rather thanteam Boxer with her partner, the chief pairs her with Police Captain Chris Raleigh, with whom she has had a romantic encounter. When the systemmakes it difficult for them to solve thecase, and more newlyweds end up dead, Boxer turns to her friends for help. Each involved in the case from a differ-ent professional angle, from medical examiner to assistant D.A., they form the Women`s Murder Club and go around the system to try to solve the biggestcase of their careers.
