TOSHIRO!One of the greatest films of all time. Akira Kurosawa`s 12th film as a director masterfully captures the human quest for truth. The story is based on "In a Grove", a short story within a collection of shorts entitled Rashomon. It is centered around a crime in a grove and told from four different points of view. With each different version, new details arise and the audience gets closer to, or moves away from the truth. Masterfully shot, fantastic, over-the-top Japanese drama, and the always superfly Toshiro Mifune, who appeared in 16 of Kurosawa`s films, holding it down as the bandit. Highly recommended if you have eyes.
