Botanist Feeman Lowell has spent 8 years aboard the space freighter "valley Forge" preserving the only botanical specimens left from earthunder huge geodesic domes. Whenhe recieves orders to destroy the project and return home, Lowell rebels and hijacksthe freighter, while plungingthe craft into the gaseous rings of Saturn.
