Movie Description:
When the plane carrying CharlieHallidaya maverick bush pilot and a sick young inuit woman,kanaalaq,crashes hundreds of miles from civilization they are atthe mercy of natures worse. While searchparties try to find thedowned plane Charlie decidesto trek overland promising the woman that he will returnwith help. Despite her weakend conditionshe follows charlie andnurses him back to health when insects cold and starvation threaten to kill him shortlyafter he leaves. Kanaalaq teaches him the skills he will needto survive and he comes to respect her wisdom and love her valiant spirit as they each set outinto the wilderness. Each will find a startling and solitary destiny in the beautiful and stark tundra.
