Movie Description:
The villagers of Ploverleigh are celebrating the betrothal of Alexis, sonof Marmaduke Pointdextre, to Aline, daughter of Lady Sangazure, who justhappens to be Sir Marmeduke`s old flame.Alexis determines that the whole villageshould be as happily in love as he is, regardless of artificial barriers likerank, wealth, and age. He arranges for the professional sorcerer Mr. Wells, "a dealer in magicand spells," to admin- ister his love potion to all thevillagers at the engagement tea. The plan succeeds uproariously!
