You know, they do eat mushrooms...maybe this koopa thing is all in their heads?
One of my favoritest movies from when I was a kid. Mario (Bob Hoskins) and his lazy brother apprentice (John Leguizamo) find themselves on thrust into the adventure of a lifetime. After getting their first job in months and finally managing to get dates on a rainy night in Manhattan the plumber brothers are starting to think that their luck is about to change. But before the double date can begin the brothers find themselves chasing after a criminal who has kidnapped one of the girls, named Daisy, and taken her to a paralell universe where dinosaurs are still alive and have evolved into near human forms living in a city with a serious case of fungus...who knew? The plumbers then find that the dino-people are being visciously ruled over by the tyranical tyranosaurous named Koopa (Dennis Hopper), and his coalition of goombas, who has the intention of making Daisy his bride! To make matters worse, Koopa has plans to "de-evolve" the human world into delicious chimpanzees for his dino-minions to conquer and devour. Looks like the two brothers have their work cut out for them, see how they manage to save the day once again in this awesome movie.
