John Carpenter`s They Live is the true story of American politics. Subliminal messaging used by our alien overlords keep us sheeple consuming, obeying, and making babies. A great film featuring the (not so) stellar performance of Rowdy Roddy Piper, an always solid Keith David and the always fantastic 80`s special effects of John Carpenter. This film is a great sociological look at America`s consumption centered society and will make you question the media and advertising. **South Park Fans** This film is the basis of the Timmy vs. Jimmy fight, which was recreated almost blow for blow from the fight between Rowdy Roddy and Keith David. One of the greatest fight scenes in film history!
