Alice is happily married to Samliving in what seems to be a story book life- style. But on Valentine`s Eve Alice receives a Valentine car anonymouslysent by Sam`s best friend Archie who is quietly in love withher. Convinced that the note is from her husband, she sends an anonymous card to Sam whothinks it`s from another woman. When Sam hides the cardfrom Alice she decides to testher husband`s faith- fulnessby pretending to be a secretadmirer. What starts off as a silly prank escalates into phone sex, secret anonymous meetings and ultimately the revelation that her husband has amistress.
