Best movie of 2007 This will go down as one of the greatest movies ever made, I have little doubt. From Daniel Day Lewis`s jaw droppingly phenomenal performance, to up and comer Paul Dano`s (of little miss sunshine) somehow overlooked brilliant job as a young a passionate priest. The acting is top notch.
What I appreciated most is the tremendous job they did of creating this atmosphere that really set the tone for the movie. Johnny Greenwood (Radiohead`s lead guitarist) created a scratchy soundtrack that kept you on the edge of your seat without having to sacrifice story to have some michael bay type explosion that`ll keep you interested. The cinematography was stunning. They did something really interesting, reminded me a lot of The Assasination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford. It was all really simple breathtaking images, however, the purposefully had the camera go in and out of focus.
All of these combine to create a masterpiece of filmmaking that will be wildly heralded for years to come.
True Next Gen Experience This game is awesome. Right from the start with the training, you really get sense of how important it is to work together. This game is built for co-op. If you try to go about this like it`s halo, you`re gonna die. It`s all about talking with your friend about what to do, how to be strategic, or deciding how best to flank the enemy.
Just with some simple little things it`s great. If you go up to your teammate and press A, you give him a high five or make some sort of joke. If you press X instead, you slap them in the face. This makes for some fun stupid moments trying to slap each other.
Definitely a must rent or buy for anyone who likes co-op games.
Classic fantasy Of all the made for tv fantasy movies, this one tops the bunch. It`s funny, interesting, and cute. I highly reccomend this for anyone looking for a fun light movie.
