Movies:
Its hard for me to pick a favorite anything, but if I had to choose a few (in no particular order) they`d be: Sense & Sensibility, Chocolate, Life As A House, Shortbus, Far & Away, The Birdcage, LOTR, Into The Wild, Penelope, Pride and Prejudice, Starter For Ten, Everafter, Casanova, Yes But, Finding Nemo, and Saved. I`m sure there are more I`d like to mention, but I can`t think of them right now!
Actor/Actress:
Again, trying to pick favorites is difficult! But I can say for sure that I will watch any movies that James McAvoy or Heath Ledger are in! Emma Thompson and Natalie Portman are a two of my favorite actresses.
Directors:
I don`t pay a whole lot of attention to directors, but I like Ang lee.
Movie Scenes:
I`m a sucker for a good kissing scene. So any good kiss that you can "feel" I probably like!
Other:
My favorite TV series are Grey`s Anatomy, Everwood, Weeds, and Avatar!
STARTER FOR 10 DVD Review
Oh James... the things I would do to play the love interest of James McAvoy are endless!
Although this movie is slightly predictable, its worth it!
Highly recommended if your a fan of young adult romance/coming of age movies or if you`re simply mad about James like me :P
WEEDS 1 DISC 1 DVD Review
Dank! After all of the recommendations and raving reviews, I finally rented it... And I`m so glad I did! Definitely my new favorite series. Interesting and hilarious characters that retain a sense of realness about them which is nice. I get a little high every time I watch it :) Without smoking anything!
I just wish they were hour long episodes rather than 30 minute.
SENSE AND SENSIBILITY DVD 2008 Review
Too much sense, not enough sensibility This is one of my favorite Jane Austen stories, but not one of my favorite adaptations! My favorite version of Sense and Sensibility is the 1995 version starring Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet and Hugh Grant.
Even though this BBC version was twice as long, it left me wanting more... More emotion, more heart, and more from the ending!
I did however enjoy getting to see more of the actual story played out, particularly surrounding Willoughby`s situation.
I am indifferent about the recommendation.
