MUST SEE!!!! ALL I have to say is that this is one of the best films I`ve seen in years. I love movies that are based on actual events and this story is one that I had never heard of. The acting/cinematography is amazing and the two main characters are nothing short of amazing with there acting capabilities.
In short see this film which is Danish and German with english subtitles and I wont be surprised if it remade one day as an American film.

Unbelievable.... One of the most unbelievable documentary`s i have ever seen. Period. A must see no matter what. Everybody should be informed on what is going on here and although a little heart wrenching at times the people who participate in this documentary are nothing short of hero`s in my book. Don`t miss... If you grew up at all listening or experiencing the punk rock scene/music or if you just like a movie about someone`s influential life, this a movie for you. Yes you. The story is about the life of Darby Crash who formed a band in the late 70`s called THE GERMS. It follows his life as he is constantly pursueing his music career but at the same time kicked out of every club in LA with no where to play and everyone wanting him to. Interesting as well is the fact of some of the people that come to light such as Belinda Carlise who was originally supposed to be in the band but didn`t want to and later formed the Go Go`s and Pat Benatar who produced there first (and one of the first punk albums) record for THE GERMS. Shane West actually does a great acting job playing Darby and the movie played with the backdrop of 1979 LA is very catchy. Good movie, Great Acting and Great music. SEE THIS...
